Is LandMate free?+

Yes — completely free for international students. Guides, your plan, the community and the Hub all cost nothing.

Who is it for?+

International students moving to — or already living in — Australia. Everything is tailored to student-visa life, city by city.

How are jobs, rooms and professionals vetted?+

Every listing is reviewed by a human before it appears. Community submissions are checked for scams and dodgy contact-only posts, and professionals are checked against their registration. You can also report anything that looks off.

How many hours can I work on a student visa?+

Most student visas allow up to 48 hours per fortnight while your course is in session, and unlimited hours on scheduled breaks. Always check your own visa grant. Check you're being paid fairly.

Can I post a job, room or service?+

Yes — sign in and post a listing. It enters review and goes live once approved; you'll get a notification either way and can edit it anytime.

Why do I need to sign in to see contact details?+

Browsing is open to all. Contact and apply details are members-only — it keeps scrapers and spammers out and protects the people who post.

Is my data safe?+

We collect only what's needed to run your account and plan. See the privacy policy for the detail, including how to request deletion.
